Childhood Halloween Mask Memories? - SICKNESS - 09-18-2006
By this thread, I mean are there any masks that people grew up with loving when they were little, and when they see it, it takes you down memory lane? I know I do.
When I was in, like 2nd Grade, I was obsessed with SCREAM. I use to draw it, had a ghost face mask, but at that time, I barely saw any of the movies. Practically every year, I went as a ghost face mask, not necisarilly the Scream version, but the custom ones they sell at pharmacies. I use to live those, and those really touch my heart when I see them.
THE COOLEST mask growing up was the "bleeding scream" mask. It had a heart pump that you squeeze and blood would flow down the mask. I loved this mask so much. I went to the mall with my friends the other day and HAD TO pick one up. It brings back soooo many memories, and I really love it!

I had an old frddy mask, DP i believe , i wore that sucker for about 5 or 6 years straight w/ a glove that I made from an old gardening glove w/ sparklers for blades. Good times

well, sicknes, obviously being a kid was not that long ago for you....so its kinda funny you wanting to walk down memory lane when it was only 3-4 years ago most likely....lol...but seriously, my mom always made my costumes. I never got the opportunity to wear anything store bought at all. We just didn\'t have the money to do so...so pretty much any store bought mask at that time i was jealous of....

I had a creepy old man mask similar to the one Mikey wears in H4 while driving, but more zombie like. I won a costume contest when I was 10 (1984) wearing that mask...I put on my black Michael Jackson leather jacket, a pair of jeans, and black shoes...I put a "thriller" sign around my neck and walked like a zombie. I only won $5, but that was a lot for a kid back then.

i remember my dad buying one of these at a walmart for me and my brother and we went out and rented friday pt. 5 right after, we rented it because the mask on the box looked cool haha

I used to get tons of masks when I was little. Not sure why my mother would let me have them all, but I remember lots of those Ben Cooper monster masks that came with the vinyl costumes, and I remember a brown, latex alien mask with fur on it and blinking red eyes. Then I suppose the one I remember best is an Alterian Studios corpse mask that I saved up for for months. I still have it and in perfect condition.
