Dulling Blades - legimp - 08-10-2004 I was wondering what is the best way to dull the blade of a machete??? Dulling Blades - alvanaxe - 08-10-2004 Use a grinder and grind the blade flat. Dulling Blades - JASON11 - 08-10-2004 Yeah grinders are the easiest and fastest way to do it. Dulling Blades - HalloweeN - 08-10-2004 Yep, grinders do the trick. After you grinder it, sand it with some sand paper or with a file. Dulling Blades - The13thDreamShape - 08-10-2004 if u dont have a grinder, use a sadner or a dremel. Dulling Blades - legimp - 08-10-2004 I have none of those tools lol Thanx alot for your help though Dulling Blades - HalloweeN - 08-10-2004 if you dont have a grinder or a dremel type tool, i would try some 80 grit sand paper and work your way up. Sand paper would probably work but, it might take a little while to get it real smooth. Files also do the trick...i dont think they cost that much. Jon Dulling Blades - WilliamAbuJannah - 08-10-2004 run the edge up and down a concrete step till it\'s flat. Dulling Blades - JASON 7 - 08-10-2004 crop off some heads and mutilate some bodies this always works for me. bones are a bitch on the blade. Dulling Blades - Eddie - 08-10-2004 Steel file works good too. Eddie |
