i hear ya, but if roch doesnt want the mask whats darren supposed to do? i mean in a perfect world it would be no problem to trade back....but roch is the one who wants to back out of the deal not darren....so yea, its just a crappy situation....its leanring me a bit tho to now be even more careful with trades.

I wouldn\'t be suprised if Roch figured out he made a stupid decision trading the Kirk and used Sean\'s story as an excuse to try to get it back. The proof is out there that it\'s the same mask.

maybe darren can only say to roch if he sent the mask back he gonna keep it...anyway is not my bizness at all but i dont think keep the two masks is a good idea.you really need to talk with roch and clear that mess up...but if he dont want to understand you i say keep it...but you need to do something because we dont talk about 150$ right here but $$$$$$$$$$$..

I\'m just lost as to why the guy would trade an original 1975 KIRK!! for a screen used H20 mask, which it\'s obviously screen used... But the price tags have a HUGE gap in between them. I would keep the Kirk hehe. But I\'m with Shane, I don\'t think it\'s right to keep both. However, if the guy really doesn\'t want it.. that\'d be a predicament... :wacko:

Seriously, I agree. Really, if it gets sent back, I\'d send him one last e-mail telling him I was shipping it back to him (and keep a copy), telling him a deal is a deal and to cut his losses. I\'d ship it one last time and if he refuses it, then he has no choice but to keep both. And, even though I see absolutely no reason a legal action could be brought about, he\'d have proof that he attempted twice to send the mask only to have it refused.

Roch\'s collection habit is geared more towards screen used masks nowadays. He paid around $9,000 USD for that Kirk originally so he figured Darren probably paid near that for the screen used H20 hero mask. I believe Darren\'s Kirk to be worth about $13,000-$15,000 which is definately a lot more than the H20 is worth.
I also know that Roch is having second thoughts about the purchase b/c of comments that were made on the board. Darren basically doubled up imho with that trade. Sean\'s ridiculous comment just put it over the top for Roch and both parties are left in between a rock and a hard place.
I also don\'t think Darren would try to keep both masks unless Roch just absolutely refused to accept the H20. Most of us who said that at mm.net were just fed up w/ Roch\'s childish attitude and want the best for Darren. It was more or less a joke.
Darren, don\'t give up though... seriously the 75 Kirk is yours fair and square. It\'s up to Roch entirely as to what he\'ll do w/ the H20 mask. I\'d attempt to mail it to him 3 times and if he refuses it all 3... you tried your best and have plenty of proof.
