Its a 7.2 megapixel, and I got it for only about 140 or 150 on Black Friday. Its a great camera for the price for sure.(same picture just magnified in paint)
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndwow i need a new cam i will take the same as yours i luv the quality of the pics man <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"cool.gif\" /> Finding The Right Camera - LustigManiac - 06-19-2007 <!--QuoteBegin-knewby+Jun 19 2007, 02:51 PM<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(knewby @ Jun 19 2007, 02:51 PM)
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--QuoteEBeginDamn...I can Lincoln's johnson in those pics...lol............time for an upgrade for me.......................Larry
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndhahahahahah, i think i wet myself when i first saw that. Dont get a HP camera, I did the dumb thing buying one of those and the camera likes to randomly shut off and the pics look really odd.Matt Finding The Right Camera - dougie - 06-19-2007 I dont think it matters how many pixels you have. When I chose my cam I thought about what I would be using it for, if it is just for taking pics of masks then you should be fine with 4MP. Also a tripod helps alot for taking clear pics indoors. Finding The Right Camera - puckface - 06-19-2007 Thanks WhiteSider, here are a few more pics that show good quality Finding The Right Camera - adam - 06-19-2007 Scott, how did you get such a big penny!?!?!And Daniel is right, it has a lot to do with what you do with the pic. Jon, from what I've seen, you REALLY need a tripod.... for your camera. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> Finding The Right Camera - Cory - 06-19-2007 Check out the reviews on www.dpreview.com those guys are super-critical and even list prices of some of the top camera/electronics websites. I'm currently shopping around for a new camera myself (since mine was stolen at Bonnaroo). Adam's right about the tripod and Daniel is right about the lighting. Both are EXTREMELY helpful, but you do need a good camera that can adjust for different lighting situations. I recommend mid-level to high high grade Canons for most people. Two other good brands would be Olympus and Nicon. Leica is good too, but very expensive. Just check out some of those reviews and see what you can find. The cam I'm looking at right now is a 400 dollar canon with 8 MP resolution and Image stabilization for those shaky moments.Hope this helped rather than hindered...Cory Finding The Right Camera - The Beast - 06-19-2007 I have a cannon A550, its a great camera...takes real clear pics, especially outside... If your trying to take pics of something real close up it helps to have a tripod tho.
