Why don\'t they understand... we do it BECAUSE WE WANT A BETTER PRODUCT!!? Who is the total idiot in the quality control dept. that approves that shit. They look at THAT and say, "yeah that looks good. We can sell lots of those! OK, next..." Dear God, if they had a product worth buying, WE WOULD BUY THE HELL OUT OF IT. We would never stop making our own, buying trading, etc. But I have seen many toys and collectables come and go over the years. Some good and some bad. No one ever complains about the good.

Well, to be honest they DO sell a lot of those little POS masks around halloween season. And once again, it is a buisness. If they can sell each of them for a good profit and as little needed to make them they will. And hows this really smashing the hobby? Its smashing the collecting of FvsJ pieces. If all else you still have some kickass original pieces, then several other movie related pieces that the production companies arn\'t out to shut down. Just getting tired of ALL these repeating "YEA! FUCK NEW LINE!" or "LOOK AT THIS PIECE OF SHIT NEWLINE MASK!" threads. Alright, they suck. Point taken, move on and move up!

like what was said. The target audience for them is children and halloween stuff. They make it cheap, sell it for more because of the name and license, and make a killing.
New Line will never have a mask like what Justin offers or what Aaron at Dreamlandprod offers, because they\'re damn good high quality products that take time, attention to detail, and most importantly,..LOVE for these movies and characters. No major company can duplicate that. Justin is an excellent sculptor/painter/mask maker from what I\'ve seen. There\'s no way some little sweatshop cranking out masks, probably made by underage labor in another country, can compete in quality. It\'ll never happen. New Line gets the stuff made cheap, they sell a bunch of it at halloween, and they make alot of money. That\'s what they care about.
Yes, a foam Hockey Mask is nasty. To us, to collectors. But to a little kid that might be the coolest damn Hockey Mask he\'s ever seen!!
I know when I was a kid and I bought my first plastic freddy glove, I was psyched!! I didn\'t take it off for hours. I loved it. Now I can\'t stand them. I can\'t blame New Line for the fact that I grew up and my tastes became better and more refined when it comes to horror products.
Much as I hate to say it, New Line is within thier rights to do what they\'re doing. What\'s annoying are the little guys who are getting pulled through the cracks cuz they had the word \'Jason\' or something in thier eBay listing. Especially the guy who had his auction pulled on a faceless hood. That\'s not right.
Give it time, all this will blow over. It really seems like it\'s the hockey masks that they\'re going after. Think about it. You\'re a huge super rich movie studio getting ready to release some cheesy hockey masks for the halloween season. Then you realize there\'s these guys online offering EXCELLENT hockey masks with great paint jobs!!!! You\'d shit! What if all our customers buy those GOOD hockey masks?? What are we gonna do with 2 million foam hockey masks?? Aw no, fuck that, we\'re New Line, we\'re not getting stuck with 2 million foam hockey masks, shut those other guys down!!

I really don\'t think I\'ll ever have a problem getting my hands on a quality Hockey Mask, and I doubt any of you will either. This is all just an inconvience at best.
Though I gotta admit, I wish LFG had relocated like ESC1 did. I was proud when Mega stuck up the big middle finger and made a new site.

amen to everything u jsut said bill.....when i got my plastic glove i wore it for 2 days straight now only a yr later i hate them....ppl like mark do it cause they love the movies....to some its about money...but to most like bill...mark...aaron...justin...bob...they do it cause they love lettin ppl know that they dont have to settle for any POS mask...and to some kid that doesnt know wut a real mask is....that Hockey Mask is beyond accurate to them...that is a GOD.....i know cause i was that way last yr when i got my fred mask...that recently had an incounter w/ the New Saw (me in my LF costume w/ skater clothes under the apron and armbands) im happy i know wutta mask is...and im letting eveyone i know..wutta true mask is....

that is too true bro, couldnt agree more. i had one of those cheap ass plastic gloves too and i loved it at the time too. the licensed products always suck, it seems like. and you are right they will never dream of competing with justin. that foam hockey is just plain stupid.

they\'re just mad cuz\' people in this world can show them up and they don\'t like that . so they take the easy way out and cancel auctions , close websites , or threaten mask makers . that just shows you what kind of people they are .
