M. Night Shyamalans, The Happening.... - Dr.Killjoy - 06-16-2008

The only movies I really like that he did was Sixth Sense and Signs. The Sixth Sense I thought was great. Signs was good but to me it seemed like he was watching night of the living dead and war of the worlds and thats how he got the idea for the script. I didn't like unbreakable but it's watchable. As far as the Village and Lady in the Water I could not even sit through them for more then 15 minutes. I've only seen those films in small bits and pieces never in their entirety. They couldn't be more drawn out and boring. So I had no desire to the Happening.

I agree.<!--quoteo(post=263859:date=Jun 16 2008, 01:16 PM:name=Dr.Killjoy)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(Dr.Killjoy @ Jun 16 2008, 01:16 PM) <a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=263859\"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecThe only movies I really like that he did was Sixth Sense and Signs.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndI am not a big fan of Shyamalan....I have watched interviews and things of that sort about him, and to me he is a very cocky director. I remember him once doing an interview, and saying "I dont have to make my films rated R for them to be scary." I guess if my last couple of movies bombed I'd take back what I said to get my ratings back up too.<img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/down.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"down.gif\" />
