New Silicone Freddy Mask - JigSaw - 07-06-2008 <!--quoteo(post=266173:date=Jul 6 2008, 05:18 PM:name=SUCKFACE)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(SUCKFACE @ Jul 6 2008, 05:18 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecThis is gonna open a big can of worms but what the hell <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> If you want a silicone mask and this company can produce a really good quality replica from any of the films why would you want to have them base it on a butterfingers mask??????Yes we all like it and it's one of the nicest Freddy masks made and a fav to many but it's not accurate to any perticular one film as far as accuracy to detail goes.IMO It's loosly based on the part 3-4 look but it's the menacing frown that makes it so liked, not the accuracy of replicating Freddy's make up.This is not slagging the Butterfingers so please people don't go off topic here <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"rolleyes.gif\" /> .I say pick the film you like most and have them do that look for you as close as damn it.mine would be a part one <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> This way you also get a little control over the work they do for you as you have the reference to compare there sculpt to before they mold it and cast it for you, If at any point your not happy I'm guessing they can customise it to how you like.good luck and keep us posted.<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndI couldn't agree more.Honestly, Butterfingers looks great but it's becoming a bit overrated... Now, when people ask for the most accurate Freddy, others reply with "Butterfingers" when it's not supposed to be accurate, just the same generic look of Freddy. WHICH IS NOT A BAD THING. Not all masks have to be accurate, who ever said that? But what's wrong with Mark's other masks? His "Part 1" is a screaming image of the original Freddy, and the Doll Collector? One of the best 3/4 Freddy masks out there!Me personally, would go with a part 1 or 2 Freddy, those were some of the coolest looks of Freddy. A part 3/4 type mask has been done to death.Oh well, best of luck with this project! New Silicone Freddy Mask - GraveOctober - 07-06-2008 I say definately NOT a N5/6...Hell even a NN would be amazing to see! But my best bet would be a N1. Its so different from the other Freddy's, its the most you can see Robert through. Besides that I would say N2. I would like to see a demon freddy also... New Silicone Freddy Mask - ZombieTom - 07-06-2008 I vote for 6. New Silicone Freddy Mask - ahellborn - 07-06-2008 <!--quoteo(post=266182:date=Jul 6 2008, 02:54 PM:name=ZombieTom)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(ZombieTom @ Jul 6 2008, 02:54 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecI vote for 6.<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndya im still kind of leaning toward 6 the 1 and 2 masks just dont have enough detail to me wich is why i didnt like it as much to begin with. so im a huge fan of the 3 - 6 masks and i think it can have more detail, the whole thing the part 1 and 2 had going for it in the movies was the fact that it was always a dark setting like the original idea was but since i wont always be in a dark setting with that scary tone to it i just need to go more for the lighted look wich was used in 3 - 6. bu t i definatly agree with a more screen acurate look unlike the previous masks. BUT wich one of them has the best detail? New Silicone Freddy Mask - GraveOctober - 07-06-2008 6 is actually the least detailed in the entire series... Its so bland and dull. This is 6:2 is without a doubt the most detailed in the series:Then I think part 1 is probably the 2nd most detailed:But 6? Come on, it has the least burns, the burns are huge, and the shape is just not freddy: New Silicone Freddy Mask - ahellborn - 07-07-2008 you do pose a good point the 5 and 6 are too big. but what about the 3 and 4? i was trying to put the whole costume together properly but i dont like the part 1 and 2 gloves and i really am not a fan of the burn pattern on the part one mask. and the part 2 is more detailed but it looks more like melted skin and not enough of the red. hmmm now im stuck between 2 3 or 4... New Silicone Freddy Mask - ahellborn - 07-07-2008 actually i lied i just relooked at DM part 5 and it isnt half bad either so its between 2-5. wow we need to cut it down a bit. im going to go look at some of the movie stills please pm any clear pictures you may have of any of those. thanks for the help and suggestions guys. New Silicone Freddy Mask - GraveOctober - 07-07-2008 Go for 2 if you can, its the most classic look of freddy. Its what changed the look of Freddy, much different than 1, yet inspired the look of 3 and so on.3 is alright, but I think 4 is more evil than 3, I dont remember. 3 and 4 were jokes in the series though, they purposly added comedy to it. They made freddy laughing half the movie. Go for 2 if you want the evil look of freddy. New Silicone Freddy Mask - Patsmear - 07-07-2008 I have written the company about the custom masks.Remember, since you are buying the mask, they also give you the mold for that price. That means that if you learn how, or if you know someone, you can sell the masks to all of us and make your money back quick!Pat New Silicone Freddy Mask - Dr Channard - 07-07-2008 <!--quoteo(post=266208:date=Jul 6 2008, 10:37 PM:name=Patsmear)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(Patsmear @ Jul 6 2008, 10:37 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecI have written the company about the custom masks.Remember, since you are buying the mask, they also give you the mold for that price. That means that if you learn how, or if you know someone, you can sell the masks to all of us and make your money back quick!Pat<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndIf you get a good sculpted freddie and in silicone you could make some cash, but keep in mind silicone is not cheap at all and special paints, reinforcements etc mean you've got a bit of a learning curve.I'm gonna keep an eye on this - sounds interesting - keep us up to date man! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /> |
