Warned For Helping Others On Mm.net Lol! - VF 31 - 09-03-2008 we all speak our mind brother Warned For Helping Others On Mm.net Lol! - sirbrad - 09-03-2008 That is what I thought being it is off-topic. I just had a very disturbing image of "eyes" going psycho wearing a Myer's mask and locking down topics. Warned For Helping Others On Mm.net Lol! - snowmon - 09-03-2008 People can be dicks when it comes to speaking our minds, I knew a kid on MM.net and his love of his life broke up with him, he's only 14 or 15 and he'll find another girl, I know, but that was a dark time for him and everyone was making fun of him. So let's just respect people for posting their own thoughts and take time to read them. Warned For Helping Others On Mm.net Lol! - SNIKT! - 09-03-2008 I think the only reason eyes had an issue at all was because the posts were in the classified section of the site. posting conversations like that (as I'm sure your aware) bumps the post and brings other peoples sales threads down. He has been pretty on top of that issue from what I've seen. I agree with him actually. The HMA is pretty hard core on this issue as well. If you had posted the same information in the general discussion, I bet he wouldn't have PMed you at all. Warned For Helping Others On Mm.net Lol! - sirbrad - 09-03-2008 There was not that many posts, and I addressed the question and provided the answer. That was the end of it. The posts stuck to the topic as well. It is a stupid so-called rule, people are not stupid and can find ads whether they are bumped or not. If anything this type of "robotic" attitude detracts from the joy of the forums and talking to others. Lighten up, instead of feeling the need to strong-arm everyone all the time. It is just a forum afterall, and discussion should be encouraged by any "competent" admin or mod, not discouraged with hardassness. Warned For Helping Others On Mm.net Lol! - Willowman - 09-03-2008 We actually have that "stupid" rule on this forum, too. Most of us can see the benefit of it, but some of the people who have come over here from other boards just don't seem to understand. Every time I get on someone about it I get a bunch of whining and moaning...speaking of whining and moaning... Warned For Helping Others On Mm.net Lol! - gummi - 09-03-2008 If everyone would just read and abide by the rules for the classifieds over there it wouldn't be a problem at all. Seriously, it's not rocket science, just send a pm if you have a question or a suggestion regarding a classifieds thread. No matter how many times the mods repeat it, some people just can't seem to stop. Warned For Helping Others On Mm.net Lol! - Devilstar2k2 - 09-03-2008 Thanks for the link... For a sec there, I thought I was gonna have to use the cheapo costume ones. ![]() Warned For Helping Others On Mm.net Lol! - nsmpls - 09-03-2008 <!--quoteo(post=274962:date=Sep 2 2008, 11:02 PM:name=VF 31)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(VF 31 @ Sep 2 2008, 11:02 PM) <a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=274962\"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecyea i personally dont care about what happens at mm.net<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndIm with you on that one |
