Hey guys,haven't posted in what seems like forever but I always like to help when it comes to my F13.That particular section of the sign is not a waterfall but rather a simple sailboat. If you do a googlesearch for sailboat it will give you an idea of what you are looking at.A very good place to get more pointers is Cafe Press. Do a search for Camp Crystal Lake on there and you should get a better idea. There are some very simple graphics of that sign on there that will help any painter move in the right direction. Hope this helps. The thing is when hand painting something like that particular sign, it won't be very detailed up close but rather come together as a whole once all the colors blend together.Rob

I'm telling you, it's symbolism. The water is Jason's perpetual hell, and he swings his machete of anguish and hatred at the unsuspecting birds, representing the counselors. That weird border-thing represents....I dunno, a weird border-thing.

That graphic kinda' ignores the building on the shoreline.. Like the one seen here, but more "centered" on the graphic. <img src=\"http://www.deadguy.net/images/c-sign-deadguy.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Some of those white "double lines" on the left of that building appears to be the floating docks and their reflection in the water. I'm not gonna' double post, but here's a neat little composite I threw together.. Yes, the mountain line doesn't match, but I didn't want to adjust the reality TOO much. I used the images I put into this post, plus a boat picture (that sucked), and some bird pics. Reflections are photoshopped (poorly lol).I didn't bother with the "palm fronds" in the lower left of the image. I thought they were "forest woods" in the original but looking at the actual photo I have a better sense of scale now and can imagine there being bushes there originally. unless they just didn't want to put mud in the image. lol <img src=\"http://www.deadguy.net/images/C-Sign-Deadguy-Anim.gif\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />
