I\'ve never had a puff in my life, and I got it the first time no problem. Just can\'t think in the linear, have to think in metaphor, and abstract.

Look mommy, there\'s an airplane up in the sky...

Damn great movie and an even better album. Pink Floyd rocks hard...
Speaking of one of the best bands ever, has anyone ever seen Live at Pompeii? Great \"concert\" film...

Happy The Wall Day! - Andy - 11-30-2004

Never seen Live at Pompeii but it\'s one I\'ve been meaning to pick up for a while now.

I was lucky enough to see them in concert in Earls Court, London 94\'. Trully amazing show and a night I\'ll never forget!

Well, I can\'t really say that I am a big floyd fan, but I don\'t mind the occasional song or two. One of my favs by far is Comfortably numb, great song.
Have you ever heard the Korn cover of Brick in the wall? Jon Davis does an amazing job singing that one.

Damn, that\'s awesome Andy. I missed them in \'94...they were playing a couple hours from here and I couldn\'t get there. My frieds got it and said it was great... I wished they\'d all get back together for a reunion tour (Water and Gilmour) but I doubt that will ever happen.... Sad

I dont think I have ever listened to Floyd before. Well, maybe a couple of songs. Huh

Happy The Wall Day! - Andy - 11-30-2004

You guys got me feeling all nostalgic so I dug out my pics from the concert. Had to sneak the camera in as they were ckecking people for them on the doors. Good job it was just a small camera

Scanned a couple for anyone that interested Wink

Holy shit!! :o GREAT shots Andy, you are one lucky SOB to have ben able to see them live. I would KILL to have had a chance to see them.

Jeeze this thread had has more hits (wink wink nudge nudge) then I thought it would get, great to see so many Floydians here!

You must be lost then. Go buy any of their albums, especially "Echos" and let them take you to another world. You\'re really missing out!

"I got wild, staring eyes.
And I got a strong urge to fly, but I got nowhere to fly to." Nobody Home (my fav song on the Wall)

I love Pink Floyd. The wall is great, but, admittedly, "Momentary Lapse of Reason" is my fav album.

I hated what they did with "Mother", "In the flesh" and "In the Flesh?" in the Wall movie. Letting Bob Geldoff sing Pink Floyd songs was not a good idea.

Glad to see so many die hard Floyd fans like myself on the forum
