Question Regarding Customs Fees In The Us - WarLocK - 03-22-2005

Well it looks like this is just a lesson learned. I emailed the seller and he said there is nothing he can do, everyone has to pay when valuable merchandise is exported. It\'s $41.90 so I\'m not set back too bad... but still, I just feel so taken b/c I was never informed of this and if I had been I would have bought the helmet here in the US. I\'ll forget this in a week anyhow... I just had to release some steam.

i would make a complaint to ebay and tell them that if the auction allows overseas bidders then they need to mention a customs fee . also if your not too happy with paying that and the total amount of the helmet , i\'d email the seller and tell him there was no mention of a customs fee and that you wish to not buy the item .

mike,

"Not the sellers fault guy.... The seller gets nothing back from Customs.... complain to your governement about it Wink "

Absolutely pointless... which is why Sir Chadwick is going to bite the bullet and live another day.

yeah customs fees suck. It seems like BS too. I know I sold a mask for $50 bux then had to ship it to the netherlands and it was almost 30 bux to ship it, so why did I sell it again?

He just ruined the mask when he got it anyway.
