I don\'t have as much ink as DragoBloodlust but in my opinion the pain depends on the part of the body and the artist. My tat, not small my any means hurt bad in some spots and not bad at all in others. But it did hurt, it is needles scratching your skin.

A funny story when i was getting this done the tattoo artist kept saying "...stop that, you will mess up the outline..." I did not know what the hell he was talking about, untill i looked down and saw when he hit a certain part of my leg, the muscle in my leg would tighten, guess he hit a nerve. Anyway Tattoos hurt...period, if they didn\'t you would not bleed when they do em.

Yea, the artist has a lot to do with it. Jason at Nick\'s (where I get my stuff) is pretty heavy handed. He\'s a great artist but he\'s just heavy. But, Tim and Kalib and really easy handed. Just depends on personal style, and the artists comfort.

Mine didnt hurt 2 bad but i got them so far in places that are more "padded" go for it but you wont stop at one..so they cant hurt that bad, lol

It was more of an annoying pain to me. Sort ofl ike an itch you can\'t scratch and it slowly builds in pain. When it was all done, it felt similar to a sun burn to me. And I stopped at one. Mainly because with the way my mind works, I\'d change over the years and not like it after a while. They\'re pretty permanent so worry more about picking out the right one rather than the pain.

I have both upper arms almost totally tattooed... one on the center of my chest, one on my leg. People take pain differently. I don\'t think it is all that bad, sure it gets a little sore if yer getting alot done in one sitting, but it is nothing I can\'t handle. I have heard stories of people crying, calling their moms, etc. hahaha
I am actually getting a new tattoo tomorrow!!! First one since November. Here are a few of mine that I have pics of on the computer:

I have one whole side of my right leg done and it was pretty sore alright in some places especially!

But when they stop for a break i miss the pain! I know that sounds weird but the feeling is pretty crazy, a needle stabbin your stin thousands of times.
I plan on getting more done soon, when finance permits!
