Yes, alot of these things can get grossly over-priced. I think some of the independant(fan) made stuff is more justifiable considering it\'s their art work. Every so often I feel just a tad immature for some of the things I take interest in and buy and guilty. Like buying a mask when I should have gotten new tires. Oh well, have fun while you\'re still alive.

Its like should I buy another mask... or pack another $400 away for a downpayment on a home... Cheers

What usually helps me make my decision is figuring out which of the two will still be there for me to get later on. If a mask or figure or something is going to be limited production or an individual is selling it, I will go for it. I also think really hard about how much I want the thing. Alot of times, stuff has that initial "new" appeal that fades away shortly after and then ends up in storage or being resold for less than I paid for it.
