The stuff is elastic !!!!!!...I will bet my right nut it is!!!!...if you look at the end of part 5 you will see the straps warp up when tommy is holding the damn thing...Nylon does not do this!!!!!!!...that warp effect is from the elastic being pulled really tight perhaps from it being worn..check it out...I have even tried pulling the nylon i have and it does not warp or ripple up.And on the side note...just because it doesn\'t come the exact way from DMC does not mean it isn\'t elastic.

jasons got it....it was nylon or cotton in 3 and 4 and 5 they went with elastic

i think its just the regular type of elastic strap used in the 80\'s....and the stuff has just gotten stronger and better....so i dunno, may need to search for vintage elastic strap..lol

don\'t forget to check tack shops and such for horses....I have been around them most of my life and have seen alot of vintage stuff still being used to this day...Research is key..eventually you will find what you are lookin\' for..good luck and may the force be with you.
