Part 2 Glove Debate - FCK - 12-30-2005 Fredsmidfinger: I did a frame by frame, and even zoomed in. No screw rivet. It looked dimpled, like the ring rivet in Ravens pics. I noticed he had the ball and tape pulled very closely together, though (except in the scene when Mark has to be able to take it off to throw it, among others.) I almost thought the clasp was on the opposite side. This could possibly be why it looks bunched up under the backplate on the right side. And as for the dvd capture of Patton\'s Bio.....I think that could be the background blending into that area of the rivet (notice the green background lines around the glove?). It\'s starting to seem less likely to me. Part 2 Glove Debate - puckface - 12-30-2005 I jsut thikn its a different size cap rivet Part 2 Glove Debate - VF31 - 12-30-2005 ditto...different sized and maybe a little dented up...but not a screw rivet.. then again...i havent studied screenshots like crazy ...so who knows Part 2 Glove Debate - puckface - 12-30-2005 ditto to that as well Part 2 Glove Debate - adam - 12-30-2005 Most likely, there were more than one glove for that movie, one obviously being the Part 1 hero. What you guys are forgetting is that this is no \'Titanic\' production for a movie. These are low budget, and its very probable that one glove had a screw used at the last minute. Besides, the screw gives it character, I think at least. Part 2 Glove Debate - puckface - 12-30-2005 Well the part 1 glove was used in part 2 untill it came up missing, that being the reason they did the "blades coming out of the finger" look you see during most of the film...so you also got to keep that in mind... and Adam, I totally agree with the screw giving it character, it makes it seem more like a real glove built by some old dude in a dirty basement/boiler room Part 2 Glove Debate - HorrorFX - 12-30-2005 Very true point there Scott. -Chris Part 2 Glove Debate - RavenMedia - 12-30-2005 thanks for all your input guys. im coming to the conclusion i should just offer it with or without a screw head depending on preference of the client. Andy Part 2 Glove Debate - HorrorFX - 12-30-2005 Just make it optional i guess. -Chris |
