Butterfingers - Last_of_the_Brunnen-G - 10-08-2007 Is Bear sending out his remaining orders? Butterfingers - ColdBlooded Killer - 10-08-2007 The major flaw of the spfx one is that the nose was too wide. There were other minor things that detracted from the likeness, but for me that was the major thing. I would have loved to keep my silicone one, but I needed money and I can't really display it like I want to. That's why I kept the buttfingerer, it looked better on display. To add to this, if you are talking about a costume, the silicone one wins hands down. Butterfingers - Dr Channard - 10-08-2007 Here are some pics from the Chiller con last weekend, i posted them in another thread but since freddies getting so much love here i thought i'd post <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\" ![]() Butterfingers - Ruste Dowg - 10-08-2007 <!--quoteo(post=240659:date=Oct 7 2007, 03:47 PM:name=dean7879)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(dean7879 @ Oct 7 2007, 03:47 PM) <a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=240659\"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecthat is mint. my favourite mask. can i ask where you got the piece of sweater to go around the neck of the mask? plus where did you get your hat rustedowg?<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEnd I got the sweater from a member here and the hat from ebay <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Butterfingers - Dr.Killjoy - 10-08-2007 The Butterfingers is my favorite Fred mask. Great expression in the face. I'm so pissed I lost the chance to order one of those. I hope in the future he plans on making another Freddy. Definately a sought after mask - I've seen masks go up in price but not from $125 to $450! I know bear just does this on the side for fun, but hopefully he will sculpture another one - do you know what happened to the mold, doesn't he have the master copy? Butterfingers - Horror4Ever - 10-08-2007 I would like to know that too, and does anyone know where BEAR is? I didn't have the money at the time he was making them becasue I had bills to pay but now I really can't spent $450 for one. I never heard what happend to the mold but I hope he has a master copy and eventually makes some more. Butterfingers - SUCKFACE - 10-08-2007 The likeness to Robert in the butterfingers is great as it really captures the evil look of Freddy but (and you wont like me for this ) The actual scars in the sculpture are not accurate at all compared with the silicone mask and other Freddy masks out there.Dont get me wrong It's amazing but it's not an accurate likeness to the Freddy makeupIf anyone is in touch with Barry I'd love an update on where he is with things as I've been waiting for 4 1/2 months to get a mask from him.$450 ????????? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\" ![]() Butterfingers - Dr Channard - 10-08-2007 <!--quoteo(post=240798:date=Oct 8 2007, 03:35 PM:name=SUCKFACE)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(SUCKFACE @ Oct 8 2007, 03:35 PM) <a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=240798\"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecThe likeness to Robert in the butterfingers is great as it really captures the evil look of Freddy but (and you wont like me for this ) The actual scars in the sculpture are not accurate at all compared with the silicone mask and other Freddy masks out there.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndWell the butterfingers is a few washes and takes bear 45 minutes to paint while the silicone freddie is more like 3-4 hours of airbrushing every nook and cranny which is very time consuming not to mention boring as hell which is one of the reasons it was discontinued. I really do like the butterfingers a lot - looks totally like englund - more than the silicone one, but i'd love to see Peter Murphy tear it up with a 4 hour paint job. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\" ![]() |
