I hate that these things are so crazy on Ebay right now. And the fact that people are being misinformed as to the reason these were "pulled" in the first place and drving the price up so high, when it doesn't need to be that way. Sellers are freaking out buyers making them think they'll never find these, that it had something to do with him looking scary or something. Before people knew about Wave 2 and 3 coming, there were actually sellers on Ebay convincing people that they were pulled never to return. That's why you saw a period of time right before the movies opening when they went for nearly $100 each. STRAIGHT from Mattel, the reason these were stopped mid-way thru Wave 1 was nothing more than a packaging issue. The holes. That's IT. I realize there are people who will make you believe that there are different head sculpts or what not, but it is simply not true. The photos being used in that auction are the same exact pics I have seen on another message board and are the ONLY known pics I have seen of these 2 "different" heads. Look closely because paint application can really change the way something looks. Wave 1 had a hole in the back of the card like shown in the auction. They stopped shipping Wave 1 and got Wave 2 rolling with the new holes running up the sides of the bubble. Wave 3 will have the same and will have TWO Jokers in each shipping case. AND we will see the return of the Dark Knight suit Batman as well as the Begins one currently out. I have the supposed mean looking Wave 1 Joker in Wave 2 packaging. I just want people to be informed and educated about this stuff before they go drop $40 or $50 on a toy that if you keep trying, will eventually find in the stores...probably!
