Dood... look at the way its made to have that worn in look... I think thats what everyone is in awe over.... it literally looks like a Part 3 mask... that was beatin to poop... and then was used in Part 4....
The detail that Cropsy puts into his work is insane....

no its not a tad glossy, I think your just comparing it to the shower scene. The scene where you see the mask on the porch you can tell theres a good layer of gloss.

Ya certain scenes look like this..some don\'t.
The thing is that his paint job really looks like the mask was beat to hell. Too many masks out there simply look like nice paint jobs but are lacking that authenticity.
Also remember, this mask could be about 4 years old...
Not all the details on this mask are perfect or anything...i never claimed that. Just stating that I like this part 4 more than any i\'ve ever seen. No one has captured the feel of the movie like this

Though I certainly agree on it\'s authentic look and feel, I also think Jason 7\'s mask was one of the best part 4 masks I\'ve ever seen. The blood alone was so striking, let alone the incredible weathering. I\'d have to say they both are the best

Isn\'t the part 4 mask a part 3 with bloody axemark and half of a triangle? I am pretty sure Cropsy would do one for a little extra dough.

Interesting notion...hmmm, I wonder IF Cropsy does custom paintjobs.
Anyway, that is a fine, FINE mask there. Cropsy shows his quality MANY MANY MANY MANY times over by dishing out these wonderful masks.

I agree with Fright Rags, Dean Jones\' 4 that he painted looks incredible. Cropsy\'s looks decent to, however if it was made about 4 years ago, then it\'s fiberglass and not vacuform. Both masks are worthy of being called, "The Best You\'ve Ever Seen."
