PFFFT-HA! oh that's funny. But you gotta give him a little credit. The movies aren't that bad.He just likes to make some characters kinda trailer-parkish, but there's people like that all over.The Halloween remake and sequel aren't that bad. I just watch them as what they are. A re-imagining.I'm a neutral when it comes to re-makes. I just watch it as a new movie, but I don't get why they just don't make sequels and prequels.Now a lot of movies just re-start the story in a parallel existence. Like in the ANOES re-make its the same basic idea, but only a few events from the original occur(tub, wall, bodybag,), and it's set in modern day. Time period helps a story a lot. Thats why TDR is set in the 70's, no cell phones, very limited communication. It was scarier. Could you imagine TDR in 2010? How would that work?
