Chainsaw Question (final Pics Added) - Soldier48 - 09-30-2005 Maybe  (Hey my last chainbar was a 14" and it looked like crap, so this 25" one fits the spot nicely) I tried to make it look like the one from the 2003 Remake so I slapped some tape on it and weathered it up a bit. I also removed the chain brake this time, and tweaked with the muffler. You should hear this baby scream now... Chainsaw Question (final Pics Added) - Martoch - 09-30-2005 Looks awesome! My chain bar is 14" as well and what a good idea you just gave me to switch out just the bar so I can bloody it all up. Thanks for the inspiration. ![]() Chainsaw Question (final Pics Added) - Soldier48 - 09-30-2005 Quote:Looks awesome! (Wow a new guy inspiring others... as a tear slowly drops from my eye) No problem. I couldn\'t afford another Chainsaw. I mean the engine assembly is large enough, it just looked so off balance with a dinky little "bob the builder" bar on the end. Now this thing looks menacing in person. Look for a lawn equipment shop, that\'s where I got this bar. The old man gave it to me for free, since it can\'t be used anymore for actual cutting use. Chainsaw Question (final Pics Added) - Clint - 09-30-2005 Well im a little late, but acryllic paint black, brown, and red acryllic stays wet looking and can be put on clumpy...you could also have mixed in some oatmeal to look like a little flesh/brain matter. Great Saw!!!!! The old man gave it to me for free [hides little 14" bar] Yeah, who would use a tiny little sissy 14" Bob the Builder bar? Thanks for the suggestion, I\'ll hit up a shop or two tomorrow! I wonder if I\'ll still be able to hold the chainsaw straight out in front of me for a while with one hand after I slap a bigger bar on. I\'m a pretty muscular guy, so it\'s a nice added bonus to be able to point to people in the crowd with the chainsaw in one hand. Chainsaw Question (final Pics Added) - Soldier48 - 09-30-2005 You should be able to hold it that way for a quick moment. But Youre arms will get sore as hell after the night is over. Hehe, our house starts in 2 weeks...it\'s open for 9 nights total. The adrenaline rush of scaring people keeps me going all night! Normally my shoulders are a little sore the next day, mostly from cranking the chainsaw a few hundred times the night before. Chainsaw Question (final Pics Added) - JASON 7 - 09-30-2005 got a 50 dollar flea market saw and painted it red no details on it yet. got a bike chain at walmart and the link compressing tool and shortened the chain to fit around the 20 inch bar of the saw only the bar not the gear. didn\'t want it operational for safety reasons. here\'s some pics Chainsaw Question (final Pics Added) - Soldier48 - 09-30-2005 That one will look good when it\'s all done. I\'m going to add a bike chain to mine also, I think it makes the chainbar look full. Do any of you guys have any good pics of the 2003 LF chainsaw that was used in the movie?? Chainsaw Question (final Pics Added) - FeAr HiMsElF - 09-30-2005 Here\'s a couple... ![]() ![]() |
