LOL! Yea, I filled him in on its value so now he won\'t sell. Even after agreeing to sell it for $300. I think it was Chan Warren who got to him first... so he got screwed. Oh well... at least it was fun trying to score it!

Damn, that sucks. I wish a member here could have gotten a hold of it so we could see TONS and TONS of pics of it. The guy that owns that mask needs to have it restored. It will probably eventually rot away into a pile of steaming latex.

It\'s very cool but I think no one should have interfered with telling the guy what it was worth. Now no one gets it. The guys a supposed "huge Halloween fan"? Now a real Halloween fan won\'t have it.
I just keep thinking, what if I had an agreement with this guy to buy it and he backed out because other people got involved, I\'d be pissed.
I do have a feeling though that the guy will part with it soon, that kind of money staring him in the face...he\'ll sell it. Keep on him and you\'ll get it. Good Luck. Jason

I never specifically told him the value of it. He received numerous emails... which pretty much gave away that it was worth a good bit. Some of the offers even reached up to 1K. Now, he told me he was LOYAL to the original offer of $300 and was going to sell it at that. Even after I offered more money... Now, he all of the sudden says he is going to keep it. I think its just a way of backing out of his original sale so he can hold onto it just a bit longer and let time go by. Then sell it on eBay again for much more. We\'ll see.

That may very well be, but as the current owner of the mask, that\'s his right to do so. Sucks, but that\'s the way it is. Until eBay tightens up their policy on accepting offers off eBay and pulling auctions early, collector\'s will just have to deal with it. I don\'t know how many aucitons I\'ve been bidding on that ended suddenly because some assclown contacted the seller to try and deal off eBay.
