One of my favorite characters could easily take out alot of horror characters. My choice is Remo Williams from the Destroyer books.
I would also have Dr Moriarty (from Sherlock Holmes) fighting the Cenobites and the box.
And I think the Ewoks could kill the gremlins. The Ewoks can come out at day.
