What Do You Think About Bidders With "0" Feedback? - Patsmear - 10-30-2008 Well,He paid for the mask the next day. I sent the mask and got an email saying that he picked it up from the post office and was happy with it.I got scared but he came through!Pat What Do You Think About Bidders With "0" Feedback? - sirbrad - 11-05-2008 I sold over 200 items on eBay total, and rarely had any problems with 0 bidders. I do not judge based on 0 feedback, I judge based on case by case and always give anyone a fair chance. You were 0 feedback one time, how would you feel if you were discriminated against? How is anyone supposed to get their feedback up if no one gives them a chance? Also the T**Y are just for privacy, as a seller I always see the full name. I usually cancel their bids especially after I try to contact them to no avail. too much of a headache.<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndThis is not only stupid, but will cost you a lot of money in the long run. New bidders are usually the ones who bid higher, and if they don't come through you just give a second chance off or relist. Don't blame the whole bunch for a few bad apples. What Do You Think About Bidders With "0" Feedback? - monteburns - 11-05-2008 Not all zero bidders are scammers but some dishonest eBay sellers bid on their own items to boost the prices with another new user account.I believe it is called shill bidding.http://pages.ebay.ca/help/policies/seller-shill-bidding.html What Do You Think About Bidders With "0" Feedback? - reddwarf - 11-05-2008 <!--quoteo(post=282866:date=Nov 5 2008, 09:36 AM:name=monteburns)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(monteburns @ Nov 5 2008, 09:36 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecNot all zero bidders are scammers but some dishonest eBay sellers bid on their own items to boost the prices with another new user account.I believe it is called shill bidding.http://pages.ebay.ca/help/policies/seller-shill-bidding.html<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndI've had problems with zero feedbackers a couple of times recently. They Push the Buy it now button or snipe at the last second and then don't pay. It's amazing that a few idiots can get away with playing with people like this and Ebay does NOTHING to handle them. They could easily add an option to block zero feedbackers or require EVERYONE that opens an Ebay account to add a valid bank account to the ebay account....Ebay just makes it easy for these fucks to continue playing around. I have no tolerance for them anymore. When my auction ends they have 3 days to pay or I relist the item. I had a dude give me negative feedback because he didn't pay for an item or contact me after a month and I relisted. He gave me a sob story about being in Iraq and being unable to immediately pay, even though he sniped the item at the last minute(I also make my 3 day policy clear in the auction). And Ebay refused to get rid of the negative feedback saying that retalitory feedback was okay. What a bunch of crap. Now sellers can't give negative feedback, which is absolutely ridiculous. As if buyers can't screw over sellers, too! I've stopped using ebay and get most of my online items off Amazon, which has good prices on MOST of the stuff I would buy on Ebay, anyway. |
