Personally, I really liked this movie! I think alot of people are probably going into this expecting it to be in "John Carpenter's Halloween World" like the first one... and if they are then yeah they're gonna be let down... I like the departure from the typical Halloween film. I loved how Myers would a bad hiney mother f*cker in this. Halloween IS John Carpenter's. Rob is using the name and characters, so in one aspect, he should respect that. Please, the worst movie ever are you serious? I saw it today and really enjoyed it. I think no matter what people will find something to hate because it's rob zombie. As far as ruining the franchise that boat left the dock years ago. I think its a great little slasher film and not at all deserving of all the BS spewed about it. If you like slashers you should like this movie, if you are going into it looking to hate it you probably will. At least this movie isn't insulting to horror fans, I'm looking at you final destination you CGI blooded PG-13 wearing an R.

Well its not out here in the uk for a while yet, i'll go see it, didn't mind the first one.I've not really kept up with this one, any new mask designs, or the same one as the last movie?

POSSIBLE SPOILERSi saw it last night and i liked it a lot. myers is a brutal killing machine and i think zombie did a great job showing that. the way myers was humanized in this one was cool. without the mask he was just a drifter. as soon as he put the mask on it was time to go to work. it was great. the only thing i didn't like was seeing young michael plastered throughout the movie. it wasn't even daeg. i think they could have left that out entirely or gone a different direction. that's really my only complaint.

Either the way the guy isnt going to win because he's making a Halloween movie... and there's too many people out there that are against that... you can look at him doing the first one out of "respect" for JC and updating it to today's standards.... this was his movie... sure there are characters from the first one... but this one is his vision... just as Part 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 were the other directors "visions" to some extent...I dunno why people are so mad at Rob Zombie for doing these too... The look of it was cool. The acting was not great but not bad by most of the actors. My only problem was the ghost mom and the white horse...STUPID. And the story was ehh. good thing I do not listen to reviews.lol...I am going to see it tonight, and as long as there is severe brutality, I will be happy.I happen to like Zombies movies.
