They later spray-painted the face white, teased out the hair, and reshaped the eye holes.
But, then again....

Correction: In Halloween, they needed to find a mask for the main character (Michael Myers), they went to a local hardware store and found a William Shattner mask that was actually used in the 60\'s for a show called "Devil\'s Rain"-they spray painted the face white and teased out the hair - that became Michael Myers.
