I almost crapped when I seen a "Jakk's" figure on eBay of Kimbo already. But it looks as though he makes them himself, and are not actually from Jakks.Kimbo lost and people are stll bidding these up like crazy. Just goes to show that people don't care about a loss to a MMA fighter, they still want to see big, bad Kimbo slug it out and beat people down. Teeth should be gold though. But looks fantastic.

This happened before but of course was an unofficial fight - still it's more street.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjsdPyn4nX0Kimbo lost big time and the fight would have ended twice before if the manager didn't jump in every time Kimbo got in trouble.<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndYes I did, and elbows, knees, and chokes, hitting guy when down, are against "Kimbo's street rules." Gannon violated them when Kimbo trusted him. Although the rules are clearly set up to favor Kimbo, he still violated them to get an advantage. That crowd was some of the biggest morons I have ever seen, and could not even stay out of the way.

And by "the crowd" you mean Kimbo's entourage. Kimbo just got exposed. Don't expect him to win too many more fights, that is, if CBS doesn't start throwing nobody's at him so he looks good again. As far as Kimbo being a good sport, i have to disagree. He was only a "good sport" after he got dominated. Before the fight, he wouldn't even touch gloves with the other fighter, he just left him hanging when he put his glove up. I was VERY EXCITED to see him get his own ass served to him on platter.

In a way I could understand why he was pissed, he wanted to fight Ken and in his mind they threw him against a nobody at the last second, that would piss any fighter off. But still, he should of handled it better and just been happy he got to fight.

Seth is more down to earth and did not have an image to maintain. It is all marketing. Seth acted like it was the best thing that ever happened to him. What would have been said if Kimbo won? People just jump on the bandwagon of any outcome. Same old same old, "He has yet to fight anyone worth while." No one is ever satisfied with any outcome. Petruzelli was pounding Kimbo like his life depended on it, Ala Keith Hackney vs Emmanuel Yarborough, because it probably did. His scrappy unorthodox style worked in his favor, and as stated Kimbo did not train for that kind of fighter. This isn't the streets it is MMA. The promoters are the ones creating hype, Kimbo is just there to fight and make money. According to Kimbo he was well trained for the ground for Shamrock, so maybe he would have had a better chance if it went there, as opposed to being on his knees stunned and hit in the back of the head multiple times.

Ken Shamrock has been past his prime for a while now. These fighters reach a pinnacle and then it's all down hill from there. And Ken Shamrock is a skilled Martial Arts fighter himself. He's not just a boxer.Ken Shamrock is more of a striker yes, but didn't Kimbo get beat by strikes? I mean it's not like he was submitted or anything. All the guy did was put his leg up to force Kimbo to stay at his striking distance and then he stuck. That wasn't a slip, well i guess it was a slip, but it was a slip that was caused by a momentary loss of conscience due to a fist in the face.It was a stand up fight and Kimbo went down. Now matter how they try to spin it. He had too much confidence, and that's never a good thing going into a fight.I think the guy and his crew are a bunch of street punks and thugs.

I personally feel bad for Kimbo. He never did any of the hyping or self-promotion in the MMA world. The Elite XC Execs screwed him IMO by hyping him up so much when he really hadn't even proved himself worthy of that kind of promotion. But I'd voluntarily get screwed like that for $500,000. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Big Grin\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

http://www.hollywire.com/mike-tyson/mike-t...vs-kimbo-slice/Just found this from May."MediaTakeOut.com is reporting that Mike Tyson has tentatively agreed to fight, streetfighter, Kimbo Slice.A ProElite insider claims that the two are scheduled to fight, “late this year or early next.” However, Kimbo must first win next Saturday’s match against James ” Colossus” Thompson. If these rumors are true Tyson has a lot of training to do. He is not exactly in fighting shape anymore, see Mike Tyson, from fit to flab...."It doesn't help that Kimbo lost, but I would still love to see these two slug it out. But Tyson better get back in shape, he gained a lot of fat recently.
