Yes, but the characters have been made of Jason and Freddy in divesity taking on different expressions and different characters apperance\'s as the series accures. Remake bubba\'s only have one expression and really one movie accurate paint scheme. Masks get looked over and are not near as cool when 15 have been made since the movie release in 03 which IMO is an over kill. Also, you will have a better chance of gathering skills by moving on to another character. And you say variety? Thats like saying each minivan needs 20 different shades of purple. A few usually can get the job across. But its cool, keep on crankin\' those 03 bubba sculpts and watch your sculpting talent come to life! Big Grin

I agree with Steve(goaliehack) completly, everytime i make something its ussuily because it doesnt exist or a good one hasnt been done yet. thats why everyone says my killn skin mask is the best TCM73 mask, because only a few exist, so its easyer to make something fresh and well reseaved. thats why even though there are around 20 decent myers masks and countless amounts of bad ones, there are only a hand full that are given respect, because they are as good as they can be, some are good, but not as good as the few who will never fade into oblivian(NMM78, Ken..ect.). so in sumation, sculpture something new to help get more new stuff and ideas out, instead of more of the same.

I say sculpture what you want, if you like LF sculpture him, sculpture the remake, sculpture the first one, second one all of them, he is not hurting anyone by sculpting another remake now is he, he is not pushing sales or anything else, he likes the character so sculpture away. Hell I have sculpted 4 of them, I like the charcter that much & I guess Deadmeat wants to do another to make his better then his last, the same way I wanted to make each one better. I don\'t care if he does 10 or 20 of them he is not bothering me, nor should he bother you.

hes not bothering me or steve. its just addvice to anyone, im not even directing it at him. do what you feel like doing. im just saying, how statisfieing it is to do something new or something not so over done, from personal experience. if he likes the idea, fine, if not thats cool too.... not aloud to have discutions with more then one veiw point anymore?

Yes you are right, original idea\'s are awesome, I am working on a piece right now, just out of my head, 4 hours of work but the problem being is originals are tougher to sell, people want J & Fred & LF, it is supply & demand. Originals will always sell but the popular characters will always be in demand & sell alot faster then originals, there are different types of collectors, some buy just what they like others will buy abit of everything. I no what you are saying, I would love to only sculpture my own stuff but I sell alot more of commercialized characters, sad but true.
You will see alot of my own pieces real soon. As popular characters do get some what boring to do all the time.
