Quote:I saw Pet Semetary in the theatre when it came out. When I saw Zelda on the large screen and she ran across the room and got up in my face I almost had to close my eyes. The whole movie just had and eerie disturbing feel to it.

Okay, with all this Exorcist talk.
Am I the only person who awas turned on by a demonic girl in a devil voice screaming "F**k ME!*"?

Most disturbed movie I have seen is:

Aftermath directed by Nacho Cerda.

The movie that made me poo my pants has to be The Shining

Exorcist for sure, no doubt. But Darkness Falls was great. I saw it in the theater on the same day we got about a foot of snow so it was empty, maybe 6 people in the whole theater. The surround sound was really messing with me, my wife was tearing up my arms w/ her nails she was so scared. I personally thought the beginning when he was under the covers was the best part.
Also I thought the Ring was definitely one of the creepiest, something about little girls as the killer is very creepy.

i have become numb to horror movies do to me watching them sence i was like 4 but the only movie that still freaks me out is the shining
with those 2 twin girls in the hallway holding hands and saying come play with us and the music playing at the same time and the flashing of them chopped up on the ground with blood all over sends a shiver down my spine

im sorry. but darkness falls was not scary at all..

When I was about 8 or 9, my parents took me to see the John Carpenter version of "The Thing". I don\'t think I slept for two weeks after. LOL

Darkness falls may not be scary, but the acting is atrocious. Hmm where was I going with that.

I have to admit that when I saw Darkness Falls at home it wasnt that scary anymore. Maybe it was the atmosphere that first time. I still like the storyline behind it .

Quote:when I was a kid there was two films that really affected me to the point of affecting my behavior in the real world. One of those films was Jaws. I couldn\'t even swim in the swimming pool after watching that movie. The second film was Psycho. After the first time I saw that movie as a kid I showered with the curtain open for weeks LOL.

Ok, now were talking. Both of these disturbed me quite a bit. Jaws I think is the scariest film ever made.

Alot of the films mentioned here are scary. For me Poltergiest but one scene in particular, when they play the video tape back and see the "people coming down the stairs".
Nightmare 1 (nuff said)
Friday 1 (but only the end)

Recently....
Sixth Sense (the thought of a parent poisoning their child freaked me out)
Blair Witch for sure. (The key to this picture being scary or not was when you saw it, I saw it at an art house before the hype. If you saw it in a major theater by then the hype was to big to ever be scared by it.)
The Skelton Key (when you realize those people burned their kids alive)
Misery (I still can\'t watch Kathy Bates without thinking about that.)
Audition (this is one jacked up picture)

I have a real problem with ghosts and psychological movies usually scare me more than anything. It\'s a thinking thing. Pop-outs just don\'t get me and excorsims never bothered me.
