Seam Line Removal - frosty - 05-05-2006 Well this could be my last post, i use a dremmel with a bullet tip if you go slow, just lightly go back and forth over the seam, you could also use a solvent like naptha or something similar, cheers bud Seam Line Removal - D-bach - 05-05-2006 one more question, where do i get the naptha? home depot? Seam Line Removal - D-bach - 05-06-2006 ok does anyone one know where i could find Bestine or Hexane.?... i guess this stuff swell and makes the latex softer for the dremmal part. I\'ve used naptha as well (from local hardware store). Not sure how effective it is. I had marginal results. Also, take it REAL careful with the dremmel bit, I was too aggressive at first and wound up causing more damage than neccesary. I\'ve been unable to find bestine or hexane in any local store though. Seam Line Removal - D-bach - 05-06-2006 thanks, i guess ill give naptha a try then Seam Line Removal - Dahone - 05-06-2006 I use lacquer thinner with great results. After your dremmeling, use q-tips dipped in thinner and "clean up" the seam some mo\'. Seam Line Removal - D-bach - 05-06-2006 so just use it after dremmeling ... what before dremmeling? Seam Line Removal - SlasherHouse - 05-06-2006 Apply it when you begin to dremel as well. |
