I noticed I didn\'t get too many responses last time I posted. You guys just want me to wait until I\'m done with the sculpture before posting again or do you like these teasers? Please let me know as I certainly don\'t want to waste my time posting these if I\'m irritating people with too many pics. K? :-)

Thanks, guys!! - been busting my hump over here.
It\'s been a frustrating but fun as all hell challenge for me doing this. I have a new, heigtened respect for guys who put out great looking masks (which, of course, begins with a great sculpture). I only hope I can do my part in adding a great Part 1 to people\'s mask/bust collections who want one.
It\'s been rumored that we are trying to sign on Robert Englund this year to attend the Bakersfield annual haunted house we have. I\'d like to have something to show him at that time for sure.
If anyone has a decent pic of the back of Part 1\'s head I\'d sure appreciate it. The more pics I have the more accurate I can make this guy. It\'s nothing but a benefit to all those wishing to have a really good Part 1.

Man, thank you for noticing! I have had only one scene in mind while I have been sculpting him (and it\'s only a sentence he says as we don\'t actually see him at that moment while he\'s saying it and I am doing a closed mouth version).
At the end of the movie after coming up through the bed sheet.

His appearance and essence during that whole bed scene is what I am trying to capture. The way he looked, the way he spoke and sounded with the slightly altered voice effect (lower and more demented). To me that was what made Part 1 so scary. Burned guy long before the over exposure and forced laughs and one-liners and shrink-to-fit sweaters. To me there is only the first movie. Hopefully all those things I just mentioned about part 1 will continue to show more and more as the sculpture progresses.
