Fill Or Slush? - Hackdroot - 09-17-2006 Which is the faster easier way to build up a pull. Slush casting repeatedly, or filling and allowing to dwell. I\'ve been using the following method and was wondering if theres a faster/more convienient way to build up a latex pour. After wetting the mold, I slush the first layer and drain for a few mins. I let that dry for about 5-10mins and then slush another layer. Then drain for 10 minutes this time. I repeat the slush/dry cycle several times since the pulls I want need to be thick. Would it be eaiser if I just fill-dwelled after doing the initial slush coatings? Thanks. -Eric Fill Or Slush? - SlasherHouse - 09-17-2006 It would be easier to fill and dwell. Fill Or Slush? - frosty - 09-17-2006 Well i think its best to just fill the mould and leave it, other people do it differently though. Fill Or Slush? - nightmareofdarkness - 10-27-2006 how long do you let it dwell for? Fill Or Slush? - Hauntmaster9 - 10-27-2006 I fill the mold and let it sit for 45 minutes then I empty it let the first coat gel then refill and let it sit for another 45 minutes then empty and let dry.
