Painting Latex Question - Darth Veach - 10-02-2006 OK, I went back thru some old posts so this isn\'t a typical "how do I do this" question. I am working on my PT 7 New Blood costume. This is what I am planning to do, and I am just curious am I on the right track... I am doing some touch ups and a little customizing of a mask I just bought. I plan on taking some artist grade acrylics, mixing them with latex and a bit of Windex (as a thinnner) then painting and sponging the color onto the mask. Will this bond nicely with the latex of the mask? Also, I have an undersuit which I have done some rotting flesh with latex and cotton (very nice effect) which I will paint the same way as the mask. But the zombie parts are from a popular Zombie costume which happens to be casted in flexible PVC not latex. Latex will stick to, but does not bond with PVC. Any suggestions? I am thinking of using straight acrylic, no latex mixed and then sealing it with an acrylic safe sealer. ANY suggestions on painting the PVC parts is GREATLY apprecaited.
