I was at my local Japanese resteraunt at the Santa Monica Promnade[ out door mall] It\'s about 6 blocks from my house. Anyway, I was at the little sushi bar and i sit down next to a an older gentleman. I pulled my chair up to the bar and the chair had no rubber gards on the legs. You hear a big SQREECH!!! The guy looked at me with this twisted face and I said that hurts my teeth!! He was telling me they ought to fix those damn chairs! I noticed he had a thick New York Accent! Me being from New York...I asked are you from new york? He replied yes and you. I said just moved here 3 years ago. We went on talking about how great New York is. At one point he looked at me and said have you ever seen The Shining? I said yes and he said well I was Loyd the bartender!! I was like WOW! He ran jack and his lines from the movie for me! He told me That he was the only actor to be in 3 of Stanley\'s Films. Later on I found out this guy Is an old school actor from the fourties...working stong untill 1998! He played Tyrell in Blade Runner! Hids name is Joe Turkel by the way. It\'s cool living in Santa Monica cause you see these guys everywhere! Just thought I would share! Rusty

VERY cool Rusty....appearantly he could\'nt ever remember his lines, and was always looking off cue to read his cards!
