Crazy A$$ Question - Crash - 03-09-2007 That\'s just a crazy a$$ question! Nah . . . I\'d like to know that myself actually. Crazy A$$ Question - jonl - 03-09-2007 thickness and width are important, I need a set of straps made myself, so once you get the figured out lemme know cause I am gonna buy a set off ya Crazy A$$ Question - JDF - 03-09-2007 I make my own straps from scratch. I have a bunch of tools I use to cut and tool the leather hides I use, I\'ve never seen a tool that lets you "split" the thickness of a piece of leather. Not say it doesn\'t exist but I would sure like to know myself. Crazy A$$ Question - Ruste Dowg - 03-09-2007 I\'m pretty sure they used faux leather on the P8 Hockey Mask, not the cheap neca x straps but the expensive stuff they use for dentist chairs, i got some off ebay to do my P8\'s with, not cheap for a large piece but you can sometimes get off cuts at a good price, let me know if you have any problems Dean as i could always spare you some of mine. Crazy A$$ Question - travsall - 03-09-2007 I actually did this once years ago, used a bench sander, held the leather on with a press that kept my hands back and just held the back side on, moving it back and forth a bit till it was thinned down, took a while and made a mess, but it did work.
