To Hair Or Not To Hair? - Voorhees Curse - 04-10-2007

I'm about to get an SPFX old man mask and was thinking of having a certain someone hair it for me....Gonna go in this direction with the hair job if I decide to do it for sure....pretty sure I'm going to but just wanted to ask a few opinions to see what some people think. I probably won't ever sell it...but say if I HAD to....would hairing it down the value of the mask? Also, do you guys think this would be a cool way for the hair to be or maybe someone else has some suggestions? For those of you who don't know who that is pictured above....that is "Judge Alvin Valkenheiser" from "Nothing but Trouble" played by Dan Aykroyd. I'm not sure why but I see alot of that character in the SPFX old man sculpture. Just my opinion. So, what do you guys think? Thanks in advance Derrick

I think its a great idea! I love that character and that mask also reminds me a lot of it. As long as the hair is done well I couldn't see it bringing down the value at all... Might even be a better selling point!

Hair it , if its punched in properly and looks good i dont see it screwing up the value at all and personaly think it will look sweet.

Elliot brodsky punched hair in his..in the ears and such and it made it look WAY cooler. Silicone is very easy to punch too...hell I could do that easily

Ya but not on the top of the head and the ears...I wouldn\'t do it on the face though. I understand what you\'re saying but it\'s still worth it if you\'re careful....And use a VERY thin punching needle so you create the smallest holes possible.Elliot did it successfully so why not right?

I have a zombie that has laid hair that colin did. Looks great. I can't see it lowering the value.

I was just thinking the other day of doing a Judge Valkenheiser mask! Glad to see someone else knows who it is at least! LOL"See ya soon, banker!!"

I wasn\'t saying that the old man he did had a head of hair...just old man hair coming out of the ears and head a little....If I were doing a full head i\'d hand lay it
