Paypal Question - Fang - 05-31-2007 OK, my paypal account is registered with my moms credit card (She did it). I always have money in my paypal so it's never empty. After I make a purchase it says THIS STATEMENT WILL APPEAR ON YOUR CREDIT CARD BILL AS PAYPAL or something, my question is, it's not charging my moms credit card is it? It'll only charge it if I go over the ammount in my paypal right? Cause it's taking money out my paypal. I was just wondering cause if it charged her and she had to pay she'd kill me, Lol. Paypal Question - stainboy - 05-31-2007 Fang.....I always pay with a credit card (I seldom leaves funds in the account) and everytime I pay it always says "THIS STATEMENT WILL APPEAR ON YOUR CREDIT CARD BILL AS...." Everytime I do pay with funds in my paypal account - I never recieve that statement. I think you should check your account and see how the payment was made. It sounds like your credit card was charged to some degree. It should clearly say in the details of the transaction whether it was paid by paypal funds, a bank account withdrawal, or a credit card.If by chance it was charged, just give your mom the money, right? She wouldn't flip out then, right? Paypal Question - Fang - 05-31-2007 Well, say for example I just bought a mask, it was $85 and I had $86 in my paypal, after I paid for it, it said there was $1 left in my paypal but it still said it will appear in the credit card statement yet it took it out of my paypal account. My account is only verified through a credit card, not a bank account. Paypal Question - stainboy - 05-31-2007 That's bizarre. I've never had a transaction appear on my credit card statement that didn't get charged on my credit card. At the risk of sounding like a machine, my advice is to call paypal and ask them. If that doesn't work (as I know paypal is hard to get through to)...call your Mom's credit card company. They always know instanteously what is billed to the card.I'm sure paypal is not above accidents..and I don't doubt that paypal might have accidentally charged you twice. I'm sure it has happened to people who don't pay attention to their account. Paypal Question - Voorhees Curse - 05-31-2007 Yeah I had a company charge me twice for something through a paypal transaction using my credit card, I called my credit card company and they took care of it right away. I'd suggest either you or your mom calling the credit card company just for proper precautions. Paypal Question - Fang - 05-31-2007 Do you think it'll just show the purchase I MADE through paypal on the statement? Because obviously it's drawing the money from my paypal FUND and I'm not going over the ammount that's in my account. Paypal Question - Fang - 05-31-2007 Well, I just called paypal and they said they only charge your card if you go over your Paypal balance so I'm good. This can be closed. |
