Does This Knife Really Exist? - JasonV123 - 09-23-2007 I think I've seen JC make a prop one but I was wondering if it does exist and if so what type of knife it is. Thank you!<img src=\"http://www.toxicshock.tv/interviews/pj_soles/halloween_poster.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />-Matt Does This Knife Really Exist? - JigSaw - 09-23-2007 Well, suposably, the knife in Halloween 1 was a Lamson made back then, but J.C. has found more proof that it either is a Lamson with no logo or any sign of it, or it's a different identical knife.Finding a 78' Lamson now would be pretty damn hard.Edit:I realized you probably meant specifically the curved knife in the poster. I think it's just a curved drawing of the H1 knife. Its a very common kitchen knife called a "scimitar" named after the curved sword of the Turks, used primarily during the Ottoman Empire. The knife itself is used mostly for butchering loins and other large pieces of meat into steaks. I was hoping to find a real knife where the blade would be on the palm side of the fist. like in the poster. thanks for the info though!-Matt |
