Getting A Jump On Halloween.. - Homicidal#9 - 10-01-2007 hey guys, just wanted to show a pic of some stuff i am working on for our halloween setup this year. So far i have four sorta done...with six more still to go as well as a lot of little touches here and there. I wanted to go for a jason and the argonauts look with a little army of darkness mixed in for good measure. These are the blow mold skeletons sold at Big Lots. Even though they say they are supposed to be 5 feet tall (5 feet my ass) i still think they look pretty darn good consideromg. I just built wire frames inside of them and staked them into the ground. I got all kinds of cheap kids armour and halloween weapons for them as well...well...thats it for now. Let me know what you think...<img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v471/Homicidal9/002-12.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Thanks,Tommy Getting A Jump On Halloween.. - SlasherHouse - 10-01-2007 Looking good so far T. Getting A Jump On Halloween.. - frankcastle - 10-02-2007 Nice ! Did you ever use the paper towel/tacky glue, spray paint method to make a corpse out of those kind of skeletons ? They look great with some time and effort. Getting A Jump On Halloween.. - mask collector #91 - 10-02-2007 Now that's the Halloween Spirit people are putting decorations already here too. Getting A Jump On Halloween.. - Cryptoys.com - 10-02-2007 Tommy, very cool. I love it. I always look forward to seeing what you do. It's inspiring. Jason Getting A Jump On Halloween.. - Homicidal#9 - 10-02-2007 thanks again guys...i have used the snot rag mache method of zombification before as well as using it on mummies...only problem is once the dew starts...or if it rains....the snot rag stuff usually ends up gooing up and making for one heck of a mess...I have to finish the rest of these guys, build a static mummy, a witch that will be stewing her big cauldron and everything else we normally put up....I also have to decide what big monster i will build up this year. i am toying with the idea of a massive scarecrow using bamboo...but that it just a whim at the moment until i get everything else done...Tommy Getting A Jump On Halloween.. - englundisgod - 10-02-2007 corpse with greatstuff expand foam in a can spray it on your gloves your wearing smear it on it expands after smeared on basecoat of black and 610 red mahogany woodstain and some varnish or shellac Getting A Jump On Halloween.. - Homicidal#9 - 10-02-2007 i just might try the great stuff zombie...sounds like it would come out quite nice...thanks for the info...Tommy |
