The band didn't break up. Every member of the band has a solo album coming out between this Tuesday(Serj) and throughout 2008.The band itself is just taking a break.

What the hell? I tried watching that video of Serj interviewing himself, but it was just too !#@%ing annoying...I cut it off halfway through.. What's more, I don't particularly look forward to his solo album, or anyone else's from the band. It's just a bad idea to give them all solo albums. If SOAD was a pie, they would be thick, complex, and delicious. Serj doing an album by himself along with "label-provided musicians" is like smooshing one slice of that pie across the pie pan by itself, trying to cover every single inch of the surface with a thin coating, then pouring corn syrup over it all to thicken it back up to its original consistency. You are left with some imitation pie that's overly sweet that's a lot less complex and not very tasty.Well, I guess it won't really make a difference, anyway...SOAD's newer stuff is awful.Cheers,Ryan
