No One Bid On This Please! - SuperDanDrista - 11-19-2007 I am beyond stoked I had to share this with someone...after I redo my collection room walls, sofas, mouthing TV with surround sound and all that flash, this is the first prop I am going to be buying upon my return,'Profiles in history is hosting this piece in their december auctions...also some concept sketch work for the pop klowns as well...As my friends know, the popcorn klown is a holy grail of mine..I've made one and owned several replicas and even a prototype. I've always wondered where the screen used close up pop klowns ended up and now I know!!!Right after I win this...and I WILL win it...i'm sending it off to tom spina for a sick stabilization restoration and display. Very pumped..so please, if you see this on ebay and want to bid..just know that you're going up against someone with deep pockets on this piece LOLcheck it out though...<img src=\"http://i11.tinypic.com/6k6y5xt.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /> No One Bid On This Please! - knewby - 11-19-2007 That is kickass....best of luck and hopefully there isn't some with pockets to their socks who wants this more..... No One Bid On This Please! - IbDaToNeGuY - 11-19-2007 i wish you the best on getting this . i know how much you love that movie and it'll go to a great homemike, No One Bid On This Please! - WarLocK - 11-19-2007 I MUST BID!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() No One Bid On This Please! - D-bach - 11-19-2007 Very cool Dan, hope you win it dude. Would love to see pics after toms done with it No One Bid On This Please! - SuperDanDrista - 11-19-2007 I was thinking of having it mounted in a case standing up nearly the full 5 feet after he restores it.I'm sure there are people with deeper pockets but i've never even seen a killer klown HEAD go for over 1200$...and I know most of the killer klown prop collectors and none of them would pay a ton for it. Estimated at 200-300 but i'm sure it will go way more..As long as I have a crack at it....it will be mine..oh yes..it will be mine! No One Bid On This Please! - knewby - 11-19-2007 I know the feeling Dan. I was eyeballing one of the 3 original TCM masks a few years ago that were up for auction. Sadly though the mask was in such horrible shape I passed.....and I easily could have afforded it.............Larry No One Bid On This Please! - SuperDanDrista - 11-19-2007 You're referring to the pretty women mask right? I think that thing had shellac put on it years ago lol....it'll stay preserved like it is for years but unfortunately it looks nothing like what it once was..which was never that great to begin with since all those props were cheaply made. No One Bid On This Please! - Jason-V - 11-20-2007 MUST BID!!!J/K danno... good luck man... No One Bid On This Please! - SuperDanDrista - 11-20-2007 I wish this auction was tomorrow because I'm so stoked. Dec 14th I believe and will hit ebay the 28th...will have to place an absentee bid and I think a percentage goes to profiles in history.Wish me luck everyone..you'll hear it if I win or lose. This is the kind of stuff that I'm investing my money in right now after I sold my mask collection.Screen used and prototype props from movies like:Star WarsKiller Klowns from Outer spaceThe Dark CrystalLittle monstersGooniesThe Monster squadGremlinscrittersetc etc.Let me know if anyone has any leads on something I might be into |
