Stripping Resin And/or Fiberglass Masks - fright-rags - 09-17-2004 I apologize in advance to starting yet a new thread on hockeys and mask-making, but I do have a question for anyone who can answer it. I\'m thinking baout refinishing a couple of my hockeys (resin and fiberglass) and was wondering how\'d I go about stripping them so I could repaint them. I mean, I could go at it with some paint thinner or whatever, but I thought I\'d ask here first...with my luck it would produce some toxic fumes and knock me out or something. Anyway, if anyone has ideas as to how to go about this, I\'d appreciate any information you have to offer. Thanks. Stripping Resin And/or Fiberglass Masks - Jimmy - 09-17-2004 well wut i would do is gett a very grity sand paper 50-60 take off all the paint, then after all the paint is off use a fine grit to smooth it all out...hope it helps Stripping Resin And/or Fiberglass Masks - WilliamAbuJannah - 09-17-2004 yup, that\'s what I was thinking too.
