alright when i was a kid maybe 9 or 10 i went in to this halloween shop with my friend and we were looking for a good costume . so i started looking around at the masks that were on those foam heads that hang from the wall as noticed a myers mask the ( 86 myers with the rough texture ) and saw two of them next to eachother but there was a difference in them . one had BLONDE hair just like in Halloween 4 . i picke dup the regular brown haired and just remember thinking i didn't like the blonde one at all but i never saw it again after that time . has anyone ever seen one like that and if you know anything about the mask , pleas elet me know as it's been driving me crazy for years . all i can say about it is that i looke dat it up close and the mask had not been tampered with at all as i saw the glue holding down the hair perfectly like all the others and it was for sure blonde hair attached to the mask . mike,

I'm not sure if this helps but, I was at Iparty yesterday and they had their masks out for Halloween and I was trying to decide If I should get the myers mask or the sea creature one. The myers one was the new 2008 one and it had like a dark blonde hair it wasn't really brown but all of them had blonde hair. I went with the sea creature one instead though, but that is a great mask too.EnjoyRob

There has been at least 3 versions of the 85' Post "THE MASK" over the years. When I worked at Post in 89' I talked to Don at length about that mask. The first version had Flesh colored latex and was a lifecast of Don Post Jr himself. The next 2 were resculpted and had more of the Shatner features and a sculpted hairline. They were cast in white latex. All 3 versions have the 1985 stamp on the back. The hair color changed at least once on it because of availability.
