Star Wars Props - jonl - 10-15-2008 why? It says you can...did you try? Star Wars Props - travsall - 10-15-2008 BIG court cause against Andrew Ainsworth by Lucas Film. Ainsworth says he owns the likeness rights to the stormtrooper and other suits, Lucas actually does and took him to court over it and won. But, since Ainsworth is in the UK the US can't touch him, as long as he doesn't import suits and parts. So he still sells stuff, but anything he sends to the US is flagged at the border, and usually confescated. Plus, his stuff is WAY WAY overrated and oer priced. Get some Ap or TE armor, it looks better anyways. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Star Wars Props - Patsmear - 10-15-2008 I have to agree.Turns out that while that guy made the suits in the films, his copies are NOT from original molds like he says. There are better cheaper alternatives out there.Pat Star Wars Props - travsall - 10-15-2008 Exactly. That's what kills me, he SWEARS up and down, they're the same molds from 77 that's his biggest selling point and it's bullshit! Basically you're paying a TON more for an asshole to write his name on the inside of your armor. cha0s is exactly right, Ap and TE are the best suits out there, they're pricey, but far less then AA, and you know where they come from. If you're just lookin for a helmet Jon, there's a LOT out there that are fantastic and any version you want, stunt, bumpy stunt, hero, Luke hero, Han hero, ANH, ESB, ROTJ, Sandy etc etc etc the RPF you seek also, if ya haven't been there before check this site out for GREAT references http://www.starwarshelmets.com/ Star Wars Props - jonl - 10-15-2008 thanks for all the help guys!
