What Do You Think About Bidders With "0" Feedback? - Patsmear - 10-19-2008

I am selling a silicone mask on Ebay right now and there is a bidder that has come in twice now with zero feedback. The user name doesn't look familiar from any of the boards I posted a sale thread on.The user name is: yamanc88I know everyone has to start somewhere, but I keep hearing horror stories about new bidders on Ebay.Any Thoughts?Pat

i think it's all rigged with those bidders with no feedback or the ones with names like v***h or something like that . IMO it's ebay that does that so it looks like you get high bids but you don't get paid but only they do for you listing your auction . same with them ending auctions but you still have to pay a listing fee . either way they win and you get screwed . be very carefull with using ebay now mike,

Hell I hope Ebay ain't that sneaky. I know the names like"v***h " Are just what you see surfing the site. The sellers see the actual bidder name.Pat

i never take 0 FB bidders on expensive items anymore. i have had half of them not pay, and one tried to pull a scam by contacting me 60 days later saying he never recieved the guitar even though i had proof of delivery from ups. too much of a headache for me.

Well, I still have 3 days left. Definately shipping UPS too, one to make sure that it arrives in time, but more importantly, easier to track!Pat

Well ebayers have to start somewere . I have sold to many 0 feedbackers with no problem . I think the only way to know is the let it go . Could be the best sale ever and you get paid LOL . Would be a shame not to know what would have happend if you canceled their bid .

Anyone can be a non paying bidder.

The new Ebay feedback system is bulls@*t because now sellers cant warn other potential sellers about non-paying bidders by being able to leave negative feedback on a deadbeat transaction.
