41 views and no comments, come on guys he's asking for honest and constructive criticism! What is your sculpt based on?I like the ears and the skin texture but i would say the proportions are wrong, you need a higher forehead to start with <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

WTF is that, lol, one of the stranger sculpts ive seen, and thats not a bad thing, i like where its going, just not sure what the hell it is, an alien of some sort? Well no matter i would say just for originality as i dont know what to compare it to, it looks great, definately looking good for your first sculpt, i just want to know if you came up with that idea or its from a movie or something, and if you did come up with it on your own it makes it that much greater, hope you will post some finished pics!!!! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

I think for a first go its great, has an EC comics sort of vibe to it, with sculpting stuff, remember to get your shapes and forms down down first before you start to detail, don't get to far ahead of yourself as its a pain to have to go back and redo a cheekbone or eye after you've detailed it.Keep at it

One of the most important things is CHARACTER and this sculpt has that.I cant tell if you were looking for "realistic" form or if you are going in a styliseddirection... I say, keep up the good work! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> DB...

thanks for your opinions, i appreciate it. what i was going for is a zombie sculpt. i have a whole room full of masks and that is where i am sculpting, i have been kind of looking at the masks that i have when i get stuck on something. from the top of the head down through the eye and face is just supposed to be exposed bone, like the skin was ripped away. i think that it is hard to tell because there is no color to distinguish it. the skin i wanted to look wrinkled and decayed but im not sure how to get that look. it is more stylized than realistic. i just started putting clay on the armature and that is what came out. its not really based on anything except a zombie. thanks again for all the feedback guys, it really does help. mike.

its a realy cool piece, i think you did a great job on it so far. Sculpting is an art form, i dont think it has to look like any thing in particular.Pretty much everyone on here is Jason freddy myers TCM. if its not them most poeple won't comment. Ususaly!I find also that if your not a bigshot name. you wont get much attention either.Keep up the great work.
