Laughably Obvious Fake Freddy Glove On Ebay - mpetrie - 12-03-2008

LOL... the bidding is over $500 now for this item. I'll bet it's people just racking up the price and never really intending on paying... but you never know. Seller claims it's an original despite the copper being brand new (when the original is over 20 years old) and the glove it's attached to is clearly a newer model. Oh... how absurd it is.<a href=\"http://cgi.ebay.com/Original-Freddy-Kruegers-Glove-Movie-Prop_W0QQitemZ220323061601QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_2?hash=item220323061601&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50\" target=\"_blank\">http://cgi.ebay.com/Original-Freddy-Kruege...%3A1%7C294%3A50</a>

Yeah I saw that. We've all seen people try to sell metal Fred gloves on the bay claiming they are the original screen used prop. I don't know how they expect to get away with such ridiculous claims, lawsuit anyone? lol. I heard one of the real deal screen used gloves is on display in one of the planet hollywood restaurants. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":whistling:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"whistling.gif\" />

Dude, I told you that happened all the time. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" /> Those "original glove" fakers are really dumb, and surprisingly plentiful even now. Somebody almost always buys it, too...<img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Confusedad:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sad.gif\" /> Cheers,Ryan

Laughably Obvious Fake Freddy Glove On Ebay - IbDaToNeGuY - 12-03-2008

my guess would be that that they are doing this in part with ebay not allowing " replica " gloves to be sold on there anymore as they are concidered a weapon but you can still sell knives , swords , pocket knives etc. but they didn't say anything about movie used gloves . so they put on their replicas and add to the discription that it's screen used to get a little extra then what they are used to getting for their shitty gloves . either way egay doesn't care anymore and i only shop there for a few items nowadays . if it's horror related like this then i go over to horrorbid as they are much more better IMOmike,

Laughably Obvious Fake Freddy Glove On Ebay - wickedbeard - 12-03-2008

Well he obviously lowered the price, and it has ended with 0 bidders, so I guess it did not work out.lolAs far as horrorbid.I do not know why it is not used more often than it is with e-bay screwing everyone so much lately.

My auction is not fake, despite what you all may think. I obtained this glove from a very credible source.

The Planet Hollywood in the Mall Of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota had a Freddy glove on the wall when I was there about 5 years ago.<!--quoteo(post=286272:date=Dec 3 2008, 01:55 PM:name=FreddysNightmare)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(FreddysNightmare @ Dec 3 2008, 01:55 PM) <a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=286272\"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecYeah I saw that.
