Fiberglass Qustion - scream4me - 12-26-2008 If anyone knows if fiberglass can be re-shaped after being painted, and strapped, please let me no. I have a Hockey Mask with those conditions, but dontt want to hurt the paint. it just needs minor bending. also the straps have metal on them.If theres a way not to hurt the paint i might try it. i ve herd of people putting them in the oven, but that just sounds like trouble.I also thought mabey using steam from a kettle on the back of the mask till it might be bendable. i used to do that with hockey sticks when i was younger for a better curve.Any feedback would be great. Fiberglass Qustion - capnvlad - 12-26-2008 i have an old one from a while back, and all i did was set it in front of the heater with it.. let it get hot and slowly work the curve in.. but then again.. the fiberglass hockey mask was made by me and i used spray paint lolbut i have noticed that the curve worked its way out.. its back in the original shape now.. hopefully someone else knows more than i do lolgood luck |
