Convention Safe Vs Machete - Rahl - 03-09-2009
With all the talk nowadays about fake machetes and conventions, I thought I would try my hand at a safe non-metal one to take to conventions like the upcoming MM on Saturday.Took me a couple of hours to do today but not that bad work wise. Here's some pictures. It's made of wood. I found a cool metallic spray paint and sanded between the three coats. Then I added a coat of black, sanded, and then polyurethaned it. Sanded it again, and then added black acrylic hobby paint and then sanded that off to make the scuff marks.
