Tribute Bust Of My Grandfather (sculpt Pics) - andrew santagato - 03-16-2009

Started this last October. Been working on it off and on between work. It's been molded and I've poured up and pulled the 1st bust. I've foam-filled it and painted him up. Just needs the eyebrows, hair and eyelashes. Have to add a dress shirt as well. I plan on doing a Silicone copy this summer, but for now, I just want to get the 'Prorotype' finished. I'll post pics of the 'finished' Prototype as soon as he's done.I actually received credit from my teacher, Dick Smith, for the sculpt alone, which I didn't expect at all. I can't wait to get him finished and show pics. For now however, here are the some 'sculpt' pics. The first few pics are obviously pictures of my Grandfather, whose name was Wallace Burns, to show the comparisons. I was actually born on his Birthday (March 25), and my parents gave me his name for my 'middle' name (Andrew Wallace Santagto). He passed away on June 14th, 1987.-A
