Hey all... I just got done experimenting with a new aging process for my Dream Master Deluxe glove. Here's my first one... what do you guys think?

My only critique is that I thought the finger joints were more of a red copper?Other than that, it looks fantastic! The weathering is sick, and the leather glove looks great.

Definitely a great improvement. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> The finger pieces might be just a hair too brown however, losing just a little too much of the copper flavor. Also finger tip pieces would benefit from red color element. And I know you weren't really asking about other stuff but as long as we're talking about the glove...Not sure how to describe this but, is there any way you can make the texturing on that backplate more "flat" (less three-dimensional)? The basic coloring there looks good but it is a little too... goopy or something. Not sure if I'm communicating that well. Also, the blade shape could use adjustment, as they are too long and straight. Compare for example:Anyway, again, nice work. Those are just some things I noticed that I think could improve the glove even more.

I am still trying to find a much more authentic method of aging but I simply have not been able to find the right method to do so. I think Ken's Part 4 coloring is absolutely fantastic and I really wish I knew how he did that.... especially since he's retired from building now. I'd love to be able to keep that appearance going but I don't know how. Thanks for the image of the blades. The blades on my glove are really only 4 inches long (as compared to the usual 5.5" from other gloves I've owned) but from what it looks like, the Part 4 seems to have the shortest blades of all of the gloves. I still have a ton of materials left so any updates are a ways down the road but I'll probably trace that blade and get my new blades done that way. We'll see. Thanks again and it's all still a work in progress. As for the backplate... that too has been a problem for me. I am very happy with the way it looks but not 100% satisfied. I'd like it to be less textured but I simply don't know how to do that. I can so it completely smooth like my standard glove but I do want it to have a texture and this is the only way I know how right now.
